yeah, this was our reaction to The First Time. We waited to watch it on british TV. me, Kimi and Lucy hadn’t seen anything before. Chloe (the girl sat on the floor in front of me on the left) had seen it because she has no willpower ;)

So I went into waterstones & couldn’t find John’s section anywhere so i went and asked a clueless shop assistant & some woman jumped in like “HE HAS HIS OWN TABLE, HOW COOL IS THAT?! we have the signed books!” so i flailed and went to where they were & proceeded to check their stock to see if there was a hanklerfish in any of them (alas, there wasn’t. I also then had to explain to my dad what I was looking for…)
& i went to buy it & the woman who served me went “let me check what colour jscribble you have” & i was stood like OH MY GOD YOU’RE A NERDFIGHTER and it turns out she was a starkid too :3 (i have my keep calm top on & she freaked) so we stood and flailed and geeked out for a bit and then i came out of the shop and my dad is still confused as fuck
god i love being a nerdfighter
