Hi hello!

I’m Jessi, I'm 17, and welcome to my corner of the internet.
This is my place to vent and rant and talk about my favourite things which include McFly, Darren Criss, Glee, Chris Colfer, Team Starkid, The Book of Mormon and various comedians.
I have a face and sometimes I post photos that can be found if you click here!
I like going to gigs and meeting people, and Tom Fletcher and Darren Criss are my heroes.
I like to keep this a positive place, and if you ever need anyone to talk to, I am always here. Remember, you’re not alone.

Thanks for joining me in this wierd and wonderful place, be sure to say hi!

5th August 2010 - McFly Radio Tour.

Ok, so I’m gonna do this blog in stations, haha.

Radio Aire, Leeds.

So, firstly, I woke up feeling like death warmed up. After being sick on the way to the radio station, I didn’t even want to go if I’m gonna be honest. But the prospect of meeting Tom kept me going! I met up with Lucy, Jade, Dellie and Vicki at the radio station. There was about 30 people there – a lot more than I expected. Within 30 minutes, mcfly had arrived. They waved to say hello, said that they would come out and meet people afterwards, and then went inside to do the radio interview.

This was enough to have me in a complete trance, haha. When they came out, they were literally mobbed.at the doors, which made it ridiculously hard to reach any member. I obviously focussed on tom, & got my phone case signed (the pen wasn’t working, so I took it off of him, shook it and got white marker all over me. Clever….) I then asked for a picture. Me being clever flicked my hair out of my eyes at the exact moment Jade took the picture, aka ruining the photo. Boo!

They had to rush off to the next radio station, and so did we. Lucy’s dad took us to real radio, which I can not thank him enough for!

Real Radio, Leeds

By the time we got there, McFly had already gone in, but we were fine with that because we weren’t exactly missing anything. There was only about 10 of us at this radio station, and it was so much nicer. Of course, Britain being Britain, it decided to absolutely chuck it down. And I mean REALLY chuck it down. Thankfully it had stopped by the time mcfly came out.
I wrote a letter to tom that was basically saying thank you so much for everything that the band has done for me within the past seven years, even though they hadn’t realized it. I then went on to explain how close they had brought me and my mum, what happened to mum last august, and then how much they have helped me through the past year. After a bit of a conversation about how even though it said “tom fletcher/mcfly”on it, tom clearly reckoned it was to him, I got my hugging picture. I’ve been waiting for it for 7 years & it makes me so happy.

We then went to harry, who seriously intimidated me so much, and I’m not even sure why. He looks so model like, its actually scary. After a few more pictures with Danny and Tom, and getting things signed, they went.

We were waiting for our taxi to come to take us to Dewsbury so we could go to Manchester, and I was on the phone to one of my best friend. The next thing I know, I have someone screaming at me “JESS!!!!!! TOM HAS READ YOUR LETTER!!!!! HE’S REPLIED TO YOU ON TWITTER!!!!!!”

a lot of screaming and crying followed. In all honesty, I didn’t even think they would read it – never mind reply to me after 5 minutes of just seeing them! I can’t fully explain how happy it makes me to think that tom read my letter. So many emotions came at once. Because the McFly community isn’t exactly the nicest of places, it felt so nice to have one group of people all being happy. After crying in a taxi, we reached Dewsbury and got on the train to Manchester.

Real Radio, Manchester.

Once again, we missed them arriving. But like I said earlier, we weren’t too bothered about that. After a lot of screaming and crying (again, see a pattern here) with the people who weren’t with me when tom originally replied to me, mcfly once again came out of the radio station. I stood back for a bit and then went up to tom. All I could say was “thank you so much” and hugged him. He asked me if I’d read the reply, and I just nodded because otherwise I would have just cried in all honesty!

They then all stood in a line, & we all queued up to have a photo with them as ¾ of mcfly.

Everyone had their pictures, & me and megs decided to go to the end of the road to wave goodbye, which was fun. ^_^
we all then went to the fourth and final station, key 103.

Key 103, Manchester.

By this time, it was actually sunny, crazy times,
we waited around for a few hours, then mcfly arrived. Some stupid teenies started screaming their heads off, and mcfly got MOBBED. And I mean mobbed. We all stood back for a bit, & then I gave up on trying to see them. They got shut in this restraunt next to key 103, & everyone ran for the doors, banging and screaming. They then did something similar to key 103 – you could go in the room in groups, and get things signed & have a group picture. Once again, me, lucy and megs went in together. Someone took my phone off of me to take a picture, which slightly confused me. The woman blurred our picture with mcfly, & the guy taking the picture on my phone moved as it was taking so it’s a complete mess, how fun!

Once again, I told tom thank you, & he hugged me once again & it makes my stomach flip just thinking about it!
we then waited around for another couple of hours, only to find they weren’t actually meeting anyone afterwards….

All in all, it was an absolutely perfect day. I don’t think words can even begin to explain the love, admiration and respect I have for tom fletcher. Mcfly as a whole do not deserve all the negative comments they receive, as they are so lovely, and tom has definitely proved to me that famous people still have a heart.

I don’t think I will ever forget 5th August 2010.
