So, I saw them in Leeds last Saturday, and I promised myself that I wouldn’t end up going to any other tour dates to see them. And yet, here I am, writing a blog about how I’m stupid enough to go Sheffield to see them.
We got to the venue at about 5pm, and we were sat on a separate bit of the pavement to everyone else, and Kyle just walked straight past us? We were like WHAAAAT haha! He’s Sophie’s favourite, so I made sure that she had a picture before I did. But then I didn’t actually end up getting a picture, gutted! There was what I can only describe as 7 of the most annoying girls I have ever encountered in my life there, they must have met them the last time they came to Sheffield, and they kept screaming when someone came off of the tour bus & they were asking kyle if he remembered them, and you could reaaaally clearly tell that he couldn’t, it was hilarious. He went in the bus, and then Austin came out and had pictures. I have never met anyone as adorable but as weird as him, haha!
Austin went into the venue, and then Kyle came out again; which meant the teenies attacked him again. He said something about having to go, & sort of walked off but stood a bit further up the path. Sophie started running to him to get another picture, so I practically threw myself at the bus trying to get past a crowd to catch up with her, oh dear. I then finally got a picture with Kyle! I didn’t actually realize how much taller Kyle was than me until yesterday, I actually look like a dwarf or something!

The most awkward silence ever insued, he said something that I can’t remember and then went into the venue, how cringy. We were sat for a while, and then Caleb came out! He literally hadn’t even got off of the bus, and these girls started screaming and crowding the door, it was awful! He stepped off the bus and gave me a hug, and I asked him if he’d got his jacket back from Saturday. He’d let me wear it when I was seeing them last week because I was cold, but I couldn’t give him it back because I had to catch a train. Anyway, he got it back so I’m happy about that! I really wanted a hugging picture with him, and I didn’t even have to ask, AAAH!
My eyes completely messed up on this, I’m so gutted about it because other than that, I absolutely adore this picture. We tried talking to him some more, but the other girls kept screaming and bombarding in, so we just stepped back. He went back on the tourbus, but then came back out because he needed to go into the venue to shower. He ended up battling with the door? So we went to try and help him open it, but it just wasn’t happening, haha. He walked back over to the bus and the other girls all asked him for pictures, but Kyle came out of the door so he sort of ran after it, crazy child.
After about 20 minutes, Caleb came back out from the venue, being a complete and utter freak as usual (skipping along the pavement and nearly knocking himself out, I swear to god that boy is not normal) & sazz asked him if she could use their toilet, so he opened the door & gestured for us to get on as well. The girls started screaming “OH MY GOD CAN WE COME ON?!?!” and he just shut the door, what a legend caleb is, haha. Their bus was the warmest thing I’d ever been on, it was so nice! We had a general chat, and Caleb told me he liked my top. We got off the bus after a bit and Caleb stayed on the bus I think. Jonathan came off the other side of the bus, thinking no-one would realize, but as usual, the other girls bombarded him so he legit ran to the venue like I’LL TAKE PICTURES LATER!!!!. He didn’t.
Kyle came out of the bus and went round the other side to get some clothes for the gig, so Sophie went up really quietly and asked him for a hugging picture, and he said yeah and that he’d be round in a minute. Meanwhile, “those” girls had gone up like OMGOMGOMGOMG DO YOU REMEMBER US and then they asked for a picture, and he said no; died of laughter, oh my life. So yes, soph got her picture, and then Caleb burst out of the stage door going “OH MY GOD THAT IS THE CREEPIEST PLACE I’VE EVER BEEN. Did my entrance blow your mind?” what. A. freak. A load of girls asked for kisses, and he ignored some of them. He came off the bus, sophie asked, and he kissed her. Genius. All the other band members but caleb had gone to do the concert, but caleb was still in the bus. The “other” girls were still there being their usual annoying selves, but when Caleb went into the venue, they went, wahey!
While they were playing their set, we went to subway and came back in time for them coming off stage. We were greeted by Caleb wearing no shoes? He asked us if we wanted some tea, and we all said yes even though we don’t really like tea… he kept opening the door and talking to us, then he stood with us whilst we drunk our tea, just generally chatting. He asked us to rate his tea on a scale of 1 to 10, and me being the sarcastic girl I am said one, and he thought I was being serious, bless. He also told us that it “wasn’t that cold”. I told him to try standing outside for 5 hours in it, then see whether it was cold or not. Then he said that a few of them were going to nandos if we wanted to come with, obviously we said yes, haha, and he said that if we needed anything, to knock on the door or “holla” and he’d come out. I rung my dad and I couldn’t get a later train, which meant we couldn’t go to nandos, boo! By this time, some other fans had arrived, and this one guy reckoned that he looked the exact spit image of Caleb & we were stood like ……….no. we had to go and catch our train, and we really wanted to say bye to them, so we did what he said; we knocked on the door. These fans hadn’t been there when he told us, so they were more or less having kittens when we did it, they were like OMG OMG OMG OMG WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU CAN’T DO THAT! So sophie was like actually, caleb told us to, and they just laughed.
and then the tour manager answered the door, and caleb appeared at the door like “hey babes”; hell yeah!
Caleb came out and we told him that we couldn’t go to nandos and that we had to go catch our train. Caleb gave me what can only be described as the best goodbye hug I have ever received, he is honestly one of the nicest people I have ever met. Sazz happened to have her camera out, so we had another picture. In this space of time, the other fans that were telling us we were lying were being a bit irrelevant in a corner somewhere…

We all had one last hug, Caleb literally said the words “I love you” to me and I had a slight heart attack, and then it turned out that nandos was the way that we were going anyway? So we walked with them for a bit, and then went our separate ways.
I don’t think I’ll ever forget today and Saturday. I really wish that they were more known over here, because they deserve all the success that comes their way.
I love them all so much, and I have to say thank you to Sophie and Sazz for being absolutely amazing. :)
